I am classically trained to Grade 8 standard on both piano and violin, with an enthusiasm for many different styles of music.

Currently I have over 40 students  taking regular lessons at my home and also at Brighton Girls (GDST) where I teach one day a week at the school. I have a 100% pupil exam pass rate, many of which have been Merits and Distinctions. As a member of ESTA String Teachers Association, I often attend Professional Development Courses which I always find to be a great source of new ideas and inspiration for teaching music.

I perform regularly with the Sussex Symphony Orchestra and also previously with the Burgess Hill Symphony Orchestra.

My current and past musical interests include playing regularly with a string quartet, a folk style band and performing as part of a violin duo for various social functions. I have also performed as part of a string/wind ensemble for 'Slurring Words Theatre Company' in their fabulous productions of 'The Pillowman' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', with beautiful music written by local composer Steve Hoar.
